Survival at sea has a lot in common with holding oneself through life's most painful experiences. To get through in one piece, you need to know when to move and when to brace.
As someone who spent some turbulent times at sea as a kid (both literal and metaphoric), this piece totally sang to my soul. So many wise gems, shared in such a compassionate and creative way. Thank you! ❤️
No, it's bit of a story, I checked out a podcast between think it was Julie and Ellie, then went to Ellies substack, where she mentioned you, just browse through then you'll see it…
This really resonated. I think it's difficult when you want to be in the bracing stage and let the time pass under covers watching reruns, but your mind is a million miles an hour. Maybe moving is what is needed then, I'm not sure. But thank you I needed to read this today ❤️
It's a tough call to make and often subtle, and we are all a bit different. But I think that movement is usually good when the mind is racing, and if we are honest with ourselves we often know when it's time to get up and keep moving. I hope you find where you need to be to make it through the day as best you can, and thank you for sharing your appreciation.

That's very kind of you Jane, much appreciated! Thank you so much for stopping by and I'm so glad you found something to take with you.

You'd best take it extra seriously then!

Incredibly wisdom...
Love never fails 🌾
